The Year of Homeshoring?
This post and this post by Daniel Dreszner on trends in offshoring -- or reverse offshoring -- initially escaped my attention (still enjoying the New Year holiday, I guess). But it shouldn't escape yours. Quick summary -- this came from a McKinsey Quarterly analysis, as discussed in Dreszner's post:
We found compelling evidence that in a number of cases, offshore manufacturing isn't all it's cracked up to be.
